CII organized the 4th edition of its flagship initiative – the International Conference & Exhibition on Clean Energy

CII organized the 4th edition of its flagship initiative – the International Conference & Exhibition on Clean Energy on 14 - 15 September 2023 at The Ashok, New Delhi (India). The event theme ‘Global Champions for Advancing Clean Energy: Innovation & Manufacturing’ focused on India offering opportunities as a market as well as looking for strategic tie-ups. India hold the G20 Presidency for 2023. The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) was the B20 (Business 20) secretariat and CII has themed its activities around creating Responsible, Accelerated, Innovative, Sustainable and Equitable Businesses.

Ms S.Vasanthi delivered a speech on Circular Economy: Impediments and Impetus Session .Major points discussed in the session ,Developing recycling and waste management infrastructure, advanced technologies for resource recovery ,Consumer behavior towards responsible consumption, product reuse, and recycling ,Policy and regulatory framework, incentives to support circular economy practices ,attracting private and public investment to fund initiatives.

The G20 Energy Transition Working Group, Energy Transitions Ministerial Meeting

The G20 Energy Transition Working Group, Energy Transitions Ministerial Meeting (ETMM) ,4th Clean Energy Ministerial, and 8th Mission Innovation Meetings (CEM14/MI-8) were held at Goa, from 19th to 22nd July 2023. The theme for the event was ‘Advancing Clean Energy Together’.At CEM14/MI-8, over 80 side events were organized focusing on a range of clean energy topics. Mr Ravinder Tanwar participated in these meetings and interacted with top business and energy leaders worldwide .Some key leaders he interacted Mr Selwin Charles Hart, Special Adviser to the Secretary-General on Climate Action and Just Transition , and Dr Kathryn Huff Asst Secretary , office of Nuclear Energy , U S Dept of Energy . Under the aegis of CEM14/MI-8, a Technology and Cultural showcase was organized at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium in Goa and featured new and emerging technologies like Electric Vehicles, Hydrogen, and other clean technologies ,provided a unique experience to visitors.

18th International Photovoltaic Science and Engineering Conference, Kolkata 2009

The PVSEC -18 was held in Kolkata from Jan 19 to 23, 2009; about 50 countries including Japan, Korea, and US participated in this conference. The Conference and Exhibition focused on Photovoltaic, Solar Thermal Technology, and Solar Architecture. Websol participated in the exhibition and displayed of Solar cells and Modules. Mr Ravinder Tanwar delivered a presentation at the conference.

ISA Vision Summit Feb 2010 Bangalore

The ISA Vision Summit 2010 was jointly organized by the India Semiconductor Association (ISA), the apex trade body representing the India semiconductor industry, along with the IT department, Government of Karnataka. She is the Director – Technical & Marketing. Mrs. Vasanthi is a alumnus of IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi, and has 15 years of experience in photovoltaic industry. She has been a role-model and an inspiration for many within her organization. Through her mentoring and leadership, she led her organization to significantly improve the efficiency of the solar cells produced by her company.

He is a professor in the field of analog/mixed signal design. Dr. Shanti Pavan has done his MS & Ph.D from Columbia University, New York, USA. He is a well known authority and has mentored several students in the field of analog/mixed signal design.
